“ Managed to get a table at last minute on Sat at 6.45. Service is friendly and efficient. Restaurant was full. We ordered the 5 course set menu 46.95 which I think was excellent value for money. I had smoked salmon and prawn starter, champagne sorbet, sirloin steak with mushrooms, onion rings, chips, mash and veg and a steak Diane sauce. The steak was huge and cooked perfectly- medium rare. The meat was also very good quality. I had biscoff cheesecake for dessert which was average. Followed by coffee. Outstanding value with really good service but could do with a little more of an atmosphere. Will definitely return ”
“ What can I say! Lived in the village for 30 yrs and never been, until last night. I could never understand why such an "expensive" restaurant was always so busy. Well, now I know. Excellent food, attentive staff, a good wine and beer selection and certainly "not expensive". We had the Evening Special 3 Course, my main was the 32oz mixed grill, certainly the best cooked and biggest mixed grill I've ever had, anywhere. No pressure to leave at all and we were some of the last there. We'll certainly be going back, we just need to find a good slot for us all. 5/5 Thanks Bex and Steve for the invite and your guidance through the menu. ”

The food can only be described as amazing, the services from the team is exceptional and the atmosphere is great especially when they have live singers or events. However, the friendly helpful staff fitted us in quickly without question.
